Ph.D. Student
NUS Research Scholarship
Most Ph.D. students are admitted through NUS Research Scholarship and it subjects to the current openings in our research group.

We have one vacancy for NUS Research Scholarship. Please contact Dr. Deng with following:
- Cover letter explaining your interests and how you can contribute to our group.
- Updated CV, publication list, and full transcript.
- Contact information of at least two referees.
Successful candidate should have following:
- Passionate and self-motivated about research in computational materials science and AI4science
- Excellent academic track record in materials science or related fields as shown in transcript and CV
- (Optional but desired) track record of research or deep knowledge in computational materials science or renewable energy as shown by publication
- (Optional but desired) understanding of programming, computer hardware, and Linux environment as shown by repository

Ph.D. Fellowship
We also support excellent candidate to apply for:
- Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA)
- A*STAR Graduate Fellowship
- NUS President’s Graduate Fellowship (PGF)
- AI Singapore Scholarship (AISG).
Fellowships are not restricted to the current openings above, and can apply anytime. They are highly competitive, and past successful applicants usually have Ph.D. offer(s) (with full scholarship) from good universities in the U.S.A. and Europe.
